Operations
1. Agriculture for School Lunch Project
Objective
To enable children to have nutritional food for consumption for the entire range of their education by using crops planted in school to cook. Activities
1. Agricultural production according to the guidelines of new agricultural theories is applied to produce 4 types of food: vegetables, meat, dry beans and fruit. The farming is jointly carried out by teachers, students, and their parents and guardians in the community, and is managed using cooperative principles.
2. Emphasis is placed on preparation of clean food offering nutritional value to students throughout their school days, and promotion of community participation.
3. The schools will be urged to exercise care for good nutrition by weighing children and measuring their height twice a year, collecting the data and providing it to students' guardians.
